Sewage, toxic chemicals from the industries, oil spills and ocean mining are the major causes of toxins in our ocean. The garbage and sewage that is dumped by ships contains toxic chemicals while the industrial and agricultural waste are directly discharged into the oceans. The dumping of toxic liquids in the ocean directly affects the marine life as they are hazardous and raise the temperature of the ocean (thermal pollution). Due to the high temperature of these liquids, animals and plants that cannot survive at higher temperatures will eventually perish. There are a lot more to talk about ocean pollution and ways to help improve it, even just by simply swapping to using natural products will help a lot!
